TM 9-2320-365-20-22-1335Remove rings, bracelets, watches,necklaces, and any other jewelrybefore working around vehicle.Jewelry can catch on equipmentand cause injury or short acrosselectrical circuit and cause severeburns or electrical shock.WARNING(1) Loosen screw in cover.(2) Open cover on relay box assembly.(3) Set multimeter to volts dc.(4) Connect positive (+) probe of multimeter toflasher ECU terminal 1.(5) Connect negative (-) probe of multimeter toground and note reading on multimeter.(6) If 24 vdc is not present, repair or replace wire1506 (para 2-40).VOLTAGE TESTVOLTAGE TEST(1) Disconnect connector P173 from connectorJ173.(2) Loosen screw 3 in flasher ECU.(3) Remove wire 3086 from flasher ECUterminal 3.(4) Set multimeter to ohms.(5) Connect positive (+) probe of multimeter towire 3086.(6) Connect negative (-) probe of multimeter toground and note reading on multimeter.(7) If continuity is not present, repair or replacewire 3086 (para 2-40).(8) Install wire 3086 on flasher ECU terminal 3.(9) Tighten screw 3 in flasher ECU.
