performing maintenance. Failure to comply

Do not operate vehicle with muffler removed.
Toxic exhaust fumes may enter cab,
resulting in serious injury or death to
personnel.
a. Removal.
(1) Remove self-locking nut (1) from clamp (2). Discard self-
locking nut.
(2) Disconnect exhaust pipe (3) from muffler (4).
