Filter, Oil (Item 22, Appendix G)
Packing, Preformed (Item 180, Appendix G)

working under vehicle due to the possibility
of falling debris.
Failure to comply may
result in injury to personnel.
• Do not remove oil filter while engine is hot.

a. Removal.
(1) Position container under oil pan (1).
(2) Remove oil pan plug (2) from oil pan (1).
(3) Remove preformed packing (3) from oil pan drain plug
(2). Discard preformed packing.
