performing maintenance.

working under vehicle due to the
possibility of falling debris.

Do not operate vehicle with exhaust pipe
removed. Toxic exhaust fumes may enter
cab, resulting in serious injury or death to
personnel.
a. Removal.
(1) Remove self-locking nut (1) from clamp (2). Discard self-
locking nut.
(2) Disconnect exhaust pipe (3) from muffler (4).
(3) Remove clamp (2) from exhaust pipe (3).
