(5) Remove two screws (10) and bracket (8) from solenoid
(11).
(6) Remove 90-degree fitting (4) from solenoids (11).
(7) Remove fitting (6) from solenoid (11).
(8) Remove plug (12) from solenoid (11).
b. Installation.
WARNING
Adhesives, solvents, and sealing com-
pounds can burn easily, can give off
harmful vapors, and are harmful to skin
and clothing. Keep away from open fire
and use in a well-ventilated area.
If
adhesive, solvent, or sealing compound
gets
on
skin
or
clothing,
wash
immediately with soap and water. Failure
to comply may result in injury to
personnel.
(1) Apply antiseize compound to threads of plug (1), fitting
(2), and 90-degree fitting (3).
(2) Install plug (1) in solenoid (4).
(3) Install fitting (2) in solenoid (4).
(4) Install 90-degree fitting (3) in solenoid (4).
(5) Install bracket (5) on solenoid (4) with two screws (6).
