a. Removal.
NOTE
Left and right tie rod ends are removed the
same way. Left side shown.
(1) Remove cotter pin (1) and slotted nut (2) from each end
of tie rod (3). Discard cotter pins.
(2) Remove tie rod (3) from two steering knuckle arms (4).
