(6) Remove two fittings (3) from couplers (13).
(7) Remove two couplers (13) from heater fuel pump (11).
b. Installation.
WARNING
Adhesives,
solvents,
and
sealing
compounds can burn easily, can give off
harmful vapors, and are harmful to skin
and clothing. Keep away from open fire
and use in a well-ventilated area.
If
adhesive, solvent, or sealing compound
gets
on
skin
or
clothing,
wash
immediately with soap and water. Failure
to comply may result in injury to
personnel.
(1) Apply sealing compound to threads of heater fuel pump
(1) and two fittings (2).
(2) Install two couplers (3) on heater fuel pump (1).
(3) Install fittings (2) on couplers (3).
