Power steering pump reservoir drained (Appendix H).

Dispensing Pump, Hand Driven (Item 5, Appendix C)
Wrench, Torque, 0-75 lb-in. (Item 86, Appendix B)
Materials/Parts
Cap and Plug Set (Item 15, Appendix D)
Oil, Lubricating, OE/HDO 10 (Item 43, Appendix
D)
Nut, Self-Locking (2) (Item 140, Appendix G)
Clamp (Item 7, Appendix G)
Clamp (Item 8, Appendix G)
a. Removal.
CAUTION
Cap or plug hydraulic connections to prevent
contamination of power steering system.
Failure to comply may result in damage to
equipment.
NOTE
Perform steps (1) through (3) on vehicles that
have not previously had a power steering
pump reservoir or power steering return hose
replaced.
(1) Pry hose clamp end (1) open.
(2) Disconnect return hose (2) from power steering pump
reservoir (3).
(3) Remove hose clamp (1) from return hose (2). Discard
hose clamp.
